A legal expert and researcher specializing in international law. She holds a Ph.D. in public international law from Charles University in Prague and a LL.M. from the University of Greenwich and the University of New York in Prague (UNYP). Elmira is currently based in Prague, where she works as a researcher and a lecturer at the University of New York in Prague. Her areas of research and teaching include human rights, minority rights, freedom of expression, and international business law. 

In addition to her academic work, she is actively involved in cultural and social initiatives. She is a co-founder and chairperson of KITAP, an NGO that promotes Tatar and Turkic culture in the Czech Republic, providing a platform for cultural exchange and cooperation. She has also contributed to various media outlets, discussing topics related to human rights, national minorities, and the legal environment for businesses. 

Elmira graced the TEDxUNYP stage as a speaker in 2021, where she spoke about how the fear of self-identity can affect the future of others and what we can do to drive acceptance and foster an inclusive future for all..
