420PEOPLE is a renowned contemporary dance company based in Prague, known for pushing the boundaries of artistic expression both in the Czech Republic and internationally. Although 420PEOPLE operates without a permanent theatre, it thrives through Studio Maiselovka, its dedicated rehearsal space in the heart of Prague. The company fosters creativity and provides professional opportunities for its members, supported by a team of skilled collaborators.

At TEDxUNYP 2024, 420PEOPLE will present a special performance featuring two of its most talented dancers, Simona Machovičová and Michal Heriban.

Sylva Šafková (Choreographer)

Sylva Šafková is an accomplished Czech choreographer trained at École-atelier Rudra Béjart. She has worked with prestigious companies such as the National Theatre Ballet and is a key collaborator with 420PEOPLE, choreographing works like Why Things Go Wrong.

Simona Machovičová (Dancer)

Simona Machovičová is a Slovak dancer and choreographer with international experience, including performances in Romeo et Juliette and Britain's X-Factor. She is a dynamic performer with 420PEOPLE, known for her expressive and captivating style.

Michal Heriban (Dancer)

Michal Heriban is a Slovak dancer, choreographer, and visual artist. He is known for his work in contemporary dance and physical theatre and collaborates with leading Czech companies, bringing bold energy to 420PEOPLE's performances.
